Upscaling Fishbone? has just unveiled their Golden Tomatoes for 2011, in essence, their awards for the statistically best-reviewed films of last year. In the documentary category, PROJECT NIM took the top spot, followed by THE INTERRUPTERS. In third place, EVERYDAY SUNSHINE: The Story of Fishbone, is the only one of the three though that has received “ripe tomatoes”  — re. positive feedback from 100% of film critics that saw the documentary, about the most influential band no one knows.

For the inside scoop, I invited filmmaker Lev Anderson to visit The High Bar to raise a toast to and raise the bar for Fishbone. You can eavesdrop on our conversation once Season 3 of The High Bar debuts on UWTV and KBTC this February.
